Eastern Finland The Court of Appeal did not change the judgment of the Kuopio bus accident in 2018. Four people died and several were injured in the accident.
The accident took place in August 2018, when the members of the karaoke club were on their way from Sweden to Kuopio. In Kuopio, the bus derailed and fell off the bridge onto the train track.

Contrary to the District Court, the Court of Appeal held that the circumstances presented, inter alia, concerning traffic conditions may have contributed to some extent to the occurrence of the accident. However, the Court of Appeal did not consider these factors to have an effect on the imputation.
