All ready for the 24 Hours
One year after the historic success of the Ferrari #51 of Pier Guidi, Giovinazzi and Calado, the WEC will soon return to the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans for the 101st edition of the historic French 24 Hours. 186 drivers and 62 cars in total engaged in three different categories, from Hypercar to LMP2 up to LMGT3, where the main attention will be above all for the debut in this competition of nine-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi.
Three races, three winners
The fourth round of the championship will be the great opportunity for Ferrari to redeem itself after the controversy surrounding the result of the last round of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, with the race being extended to over an hour (following the red flag) which he denied to the Horse the possibility of obtaining the first success of the season, which instead ended up in the hands of the Hertz Jota team. Three races and three different winners: from the success of the Porsche Penske #6 of Lotterer, Estre and Vanthoor in Qatar to the aforementioned success of the other Porsche #12 of Ilott and Stevens, without excluding the triumph of the Toyota #7 of Conway, Kobayashi and De Vries in Imola.
Where to follow the event and the race
As with the last edition, this year too there will be several opportunities to follow the event on TV or in streaming, without forgetting the our live writing of the race (with the exception of night hours) which will start at 4pm on Saturday 15 June. The first activities on the track will take place on Wednesday 12 June, with the first two Free Practice sessions and qualifying. Other Free Practice, and especially the Hyperpole, scheduled for Thursday, with the break on Friday which will increase the wait for the start. Following, the complete program with all the TV and streaming channels that will guarantee live broadcasts of each individual session.
