Spain receives on Monday a New stormwhich will leave abundant rains in large areas of our country and that will mainly affect the peninsular southwest. It will also boost more temperate air, so temperatures and snow level will tend to rise, according to the forecast of the State Meteorology Agency (Aemet). And it will not be the last one, because on Wednesday a day of transition from a new storm that will bring more rainfall is expected.
Today Laurence will approach the west peninsular with associated fronts that will leave in their path very cloudy or covered skies in the Peninsula and Balearic Islands and rainfall that will affect most of the southwest peninsular half. The rains could reach other points of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, being unlikely at the northeast and the Cantabrian.
The worst will take Western Andalusia. There, rainfall is more abundant, being able to be strong and persistent and be accompanied by storm without ruling out the occasional presence of tornadoes on the Atlantic coast. In the Canary Islands it is likely that the cold front tail associated with Laurence will leave weak rainfall in the north of the islands of greater relief and in the orientals.

Upward temperatures and some frost
Maximum temperatures will increase in most of the peninsular Atlantic aspect, notably in the Cantabrian and in the central system and will descend in the peninsular southeast and in the archipelagos. The minimums will increase in the Canary Islands, southern and west peninsular and northeast extreme, without major changes in the rest. They will be given Weak frosts in most interiors of the northern peninsular and northern half of the southern plateau. They will be moderate in mountain environments of the northern half and Pyrenees.
