Journalist Jeff Grubb explained why he believed that the remake Of Knights of the Old RepublicBioWare's classic role-playing game set in the world of Star Wars, had been deleted. He simply learned that Sony didn't want to know anything more about it, after announcing it during one of its events, probably due to subsequent development problems.
Ambiguous situation
Sony on its own has given clear signs of no longer wanting to be actively involved in the project, removing the announcement trailer in September 2023 and not commenting in any way on the decision made, other than stating that the license of the song used for it had expired. To which many, like the journalist Stephen Totilo, wondered how the license of a song linked to a game that had not yet been published had expired, giving strength to the cancellation hypothesis.
Over the months, however, declarations regarding the development of the project have increased, which would still be active and in the hands of Saber Interactive, which recently became independent again. Having said this, it is clear to everyone that work has suffered several stops. The hope is that he is now back on track.
