The staff from the Rosenheim Clinic (Bavaria) sends a call for help in red.
Rosenheim – The nurses from two intensive care units at the RoMed Klinikum Rosenheim switched the LED lamps to red light on Tuesday evening – as they had for days when the shift changed in the early evening. The LED light strips in the patient rooms of the intensive care units, which can be individually set in different colors, are actually intended for therapy support and room design, announced the RoMed Clinic. Due to the precarious and tense situation in the clinics, the intensive care team wanted to set an example and therefore set the lights in all rooms to the alarm color in the evening.
«This is an outward cry for help. The clinics are at the absolute Load limit and nurses and intensive care doctors are urgently needed to support us, ”said the commercial director of the clinic, Max von Holleben, according to the announcement. (dpa)
