Kawasaki’s Z650 naked will not only get new colors for 2023, but also traction control and LED turn signals.
Where the other Kawa models have to make do with new jackets, the Z650 will actually get triple adjustable traction control for next model year. It is, of course, Kawasaki’s KTRC, with three modes in this case: support for sporty driving (mode 1), maximum traction in all conditions (mode 2) or off (mode 3).
By adding traction control, the Greens want to make the Z650 even more accessible to a large audience. Not that that was really necessary because the Z is almost the motorized counterpart of a playful, but also tame lamb … but okay, why not. Incidentally, the 35kW version (A2) will get two TC modes instead of three (mode 1 is cancelled).
We would almost forget, but there are also new colors, namely Metallic Phantom Silver (with red frame), Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray (with green frame) and Metallic Spark Black (with black frame).
The 2023 Z650 will be at the dealer from mid-November, prices will be announced later. More info can be found at kawasaki.be and kawasaki.nl
