However, through a statement, the PJCDMX reported that when the accusation was made against the Metro driver, the amount of damages registered in the crash was estimated at 210 million 244 thousand 467.13 pesos.
It clarified that this “does not constitute at this procedural moment a collection request for the accused, because this occurs, in his case, until the sentence is handed down or when an alternative solution to the criminal process is authorized.”
Likewise, said amount can be covered through the Metro Collective Transportation System (STC) insurance.
For her part, the Attorney General of Justice He denied that the millionaire payment was requested to the Metro driver for the material damage on Line 3.
“It is false that the agent of the Public Ministry or the Metro in his capacity as a victim have requested the payment of 260 million as a concept of reparation for the damage,” said the spokesman, Ulises Lara, during a message to the media.
He explained that the amount of 210 million 244 thousand 466 pesos by the Public Ministry, in the continuation of the hearing, as an assessment of the damages, although it is not a definitive figure.
