Judge Peinado calls to testify to the position of Moncloa who hired Begoña Gómez’s advisor

The judge who investigates Begoña Gómez, wife of the President of the Government, for crimes of influence peddling and corruption in business has agreed to cite as a witness Alfredo González, a person who would have proposed, according to the judge, the appointment in Moncloa of The advisor Cristina Álvarez, who is investigated in this case.

In a providence to which Europa Press has had access, Judge Juan Carlos Peinado Fija this testimony for February 26 at 1:00 p.m., the same day in which he declared as investigated Álvarez, the advisor of Moncloa who sent several emails related to Gomez’s private activity.

“Once the state of these actions, it is agreed to hear the witness Alfredo González who made the proposal to appoint the investigated María Cristina Álvarez, according to the report in the report sent by the General Secretariat of the Presidency of Government to this Court” explains the judge.

Although in this case Álvarez appears in a copy with an ’email’ of a personal account, in an electronic post chain that appears in the summary of the cause he appears with an official presidency mail account of the Government, where he signs as a programs director of the General Secretariat of Presidency.

In another mail collected in the summary, it is reflected that Álvarez also transferred to Reale’s interest in which the insurance company continued to sponsor the extraordinary chair of competitive social transformation that he directed.
