Vinicius Junior generates love and hate. While Brazilians defend him against the repeated and unjustifiable episodes of racism against him, many of his rivals and his fans attack him as a provocateur.
The most recent episode occurred in the friendly between Brazil and Spain, which ended in a three-goal tie. in which the Real Madrid attacker had an incident with Aymeric Laporte, whom he pushed, and then, with Álvaro Morata, with whom he had a very strong confrontation after the game.
Former Paraguayan goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert had attacked Vinicius very hard on Monday. On his X account, Chila responded to a video in which the attacker appears crying, after answering a question about racism.
“Bread and Circus, the first one to insult and attack rivals is him. “Don't be a faggot, football is for men,” wrote Chilavert.
Chilavert continues attacking Vinicius with everything
Chilavert expanded his attack on Vinicius, in an interview with the Argentine station Radio Splendid. “What I put on my Twitter is that football is for men. When in Paraguay we say don't be a faggot, it's not derogatory at all,” he said.
When asked if he had not been too harsh with Vinicius, the Paraguayan came out with everything: “Why was what I said to Vinicius strong? For having common sense? Why does he start crying? He said that he wants black people to be able to live better, so what do white people have to do? Do we have to commit suicide? What is the topic like?” said.
Chilavert said that he himself was a victim of racism when he came to play in Argentina. “There is no need to distort things. Discrimination exists in Argentina, in France, in the world. When I arrived from Paraguay they called me starving, that I was stealing money. Look for insults from the Argentine public,” he recalled.
Chilavert also criticized the documentary that a platform made about Vinicius. “The Netflix cameras were there and he started crying, What is left for a brunette who earns 300 dollars and has to feed 4 children? He plays for Real Madrid. “Apart from him, he is the first to attack rivals,” he pointed.
He also criticized that Vinicius had not come out to speak in other episodes of abuse. “When the Brazilian police beat the Argentine and Boca fans to death, where was Vinicius, who is an example of Brazil's leaders? They hit the boys, women and veterans. When they hit you, everything is fine, but then you disrespect them and they start to cry,” he said.
