About two months since we last saw him on the court following his retirement announcement, Roger Federer is back. The former world number 1 took part in a promotional event in Tokyo: he went to the Japanese capital to make two exchanges with the number two in the world of wheelchair tennis, Shingo Kunieda. During the performance, Federer approached a child and explained to him the correct movement to do to make a slice, a way of executing shots in which the racket plate hits the ball with an up-and-down movement in the forehand and in the backhand or with a lateral movement in the service, so as to impart a rotation to the ball which causes an irregular rebound.
