Isonzo returns to show itself in a gameplay videoone of the first ever for the particular shooter set on the Italian front of the First World War and, apparently, rather careful to reconstruct some typical dynamics of the time.
In fact, the video shown on this page shows a rather common situation for soldiers engaged on the front of the First World War, with the need to cut some barbed wire so as to be able to advance towards the enemy lines, all while remaining under the enemy fire.
This is a very short video and, considering that Isonzo is still in development, it cannot be considered very indicative of the quality of the game or of its contents in an extended sense, lasting practically 10 seconds, but it can give us an idea of the atmospheres and of some moments in which we will be able to find ourselves inside it.
The developers of Blackmill Games and M2H, also in this case, intend to stage a shooter rather faithful to the historical reconstruction of the events real, however, staging various events little used in the world of video games, such as the battles that took place between the Kingdom of Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the Alps and along the Isonzo.
Me too’equipment and its use will therefore have an important role in the gameplay and this small fragment proves it. To learn more about the game, we refer you to the interview with the Isonzo developers.
