Bearman, flashes of the future
Oliver Bearman he found himself catapulted suddenly and at just 18 years old, into the cockpit of the Ferrari for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. A dream come true, but also a huge responsibility that the young English driver managed to sustain by finishing the race at 7th place under the checkered flag.
Now Carlos Sainz's replacement will return Formula 2, where the Prema cockpit awaits him to confirm his growth and improve on last season's 6th place finish. Now he will have the eyes of enthusiasts and professionals on him, who will try to monitor his journey even more closely.
Briatore is hit by Bearman
Interviewed by Rai Radio 1, the long-time manager Flavio Briatorewho knows a lot about talents – see Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso -, commented as follows: “Bearman definitely has something. We will see what it will be with time. But it was exceptional. Nobody knew him and he was very good. Finishing the race competitively, keeping the others behind, is already something to congratulate him on.”
