The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR), Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to identify and investigate the facts of torture of Russian servicemen by the Ukrainian military. On Monday, February 28, reports TASS.
The Chairman of the ICR instructed to record all the facts of the use of torture by the military personnel of the Ukrainian army and thoroughly investigate all the circumstances in the framework of the initiated criminal cases. Bastrykin also instructed to take all necessary measures to identify the perpetrators.
On February 20, it was reported that the ICR opened two criminal cases on the death and injury of civilians in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) as a result of massive shelling.
