Presentation time for the Indian team Mahindra which in Birmingham unveiled its new M7Electro single-seater for the Formula E World Championship, a car distinguished by a fiery red livery. Also new is one of the two drivers who will drive the car for the 2022 season: alongside the confirmed Alexander Sims, Oliver Rowland arrives in place of the Englishman Alex Lynn.

Once again an all-British tandem. Rowland is a “rediscovered friend”: with the Mahindra team the driver born in 1992 from Sheffield had already competed in 2015, in Punta de l’Este (Uruguay) to replace the injured Nick Heidfeld. It was his Formula E debut and the checkered flag had seen him finish in 13th place.
