Intel, all the news for artificial intelligence

At Computex 2024 in Taipei, Intel unveiled a series of technological innovations that promise to transform its artificial intelligence ecosystem. The new architectures and technologies presented aim to significantly enhance data centers, cloud, networks, the edge and PCs. With greater computing power, advanced energy efficiency and reduced operating costs, users can now take full advantage of the opportunities offered by AI. The new Xeon 6 processors, designed for data centers, deliver performance and power efficiency for scalable, high-density workloads. These processors enable rack consolidation at a 3:1 ratio, improving performance by up to 4.2x and increasing power efficiency by up to 2.6x compared to the previous generation.

Also presented are the Intel Gaudi 2 and Gaudi 3 AI acceleration kits: these kits offer high performance at costs up to a third lower than the competition. Combining Xeon processors with Gaudi AI accelerators represents a powerful solution to make AI faster, cheaper and more accessible. The Lunar Lake architecture was designed to extend the AI ​​PC category, offering up to 40% lower SoC power compared to the previous generation. The platform will deliver advanced power efficiency in the x86 environment and uncompromising application compatibility. Expected for Q3 2024, it will offer advanced AI and graphics processing power, with a focus on power efficiency.
