Mexico City.- The President Counselor of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Lorenzo Córdova called on political actors to comply with the laws in the framework of the Mandate Revocation process, this after accusing that some of them have endeavored to violate the laws of the political communication model approved by legislators. for this process.
In a video published on social networks, Córdova reported that some characters have been detected who have insisted on violating the laws.
“We have detected that unfortunately some political actors insist on systematically violating the communication laws that the legislators, no one else, approved, whose rules were approved precisely for this process both in the Constitution and in the federal law on the matter”Lorenzo Córdova mentioned.
He added that the INE through the Complaints and Reports Commission has received more than 80 party complaints politicians denouncing the improper promotion of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s Mandate Revocation Consultation.
He explained that, as a result of this, the INE has issued 12 precautionary measures so that the law is respected, despite this, he affirmed that a systematic challenge to the rules of this democratic process has been detected.
