The National Electoral Institute (INE) reported that it has implemented rigorous secrecy, confidentiality and safeguard mechanisms for the 12 Quick Counts that will be carried out during Election Day on June 2.
Electoral advisor Carla Humphrey Jordan, president of the Federal Voter Registration Commission, assured that the results will be announced only when the necessary samples are available and there is no possibility of them being reversed.
In the Macrosa Press Room intended for coverage of the 2023-2024 Federal Electoral Process, Counselor Humphrey reported that tomorrow the samples of the boxes from where the results of the Scrutiny and Computation Minutes will be reported will be selected.
He stressed that said sample will not be known in its entirety by a single person, but will be protected by two members of the Technical Advisory Committee for Rapid Counts (COTECORA) and its technical secretary, each with a cryptographic key.
Transparency in the Delivery of Results
Humphrey emphasized that the delivery of results from the 12 Quick Counts will be carried out with maximum transparency.
Once the necessary sample is obtained and it is confirmed that there is no possibility of reversal of the result, it will be delivered in a sealed envelope to the presidency of the General Council of the INE.
Federal election results – Presidency of the Republic, Senate and Chamber of Deputies – They will be announced between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2.
For the other nine Quick Counts – eight from Governorships and one from the Head of Government of Mexico City – the presidencies of the Local Public Organizations will be informed so that they are the ones to disclose them.
The first sample received by the COTECORA members will be communicated immediately, and the reports will continue to be updated until the 12 Quick Counts are completed, guaranteeing timeliness, certainty and transparency throughout the process.

Counselor Carla Humphrey highlighted the importance of Electoral Register and the Nominal Lists of Voters, which are June 2nd They call on more than 98 million Mexican men and women to exercise their right to vote.
