In Zaporozhye, they said that Ukraine conducted prohibited experiments at a local nuclear power plant
Prohibited experiments were carried out at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant while it was under the control of the Ukrainian authorities. This was stated by Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, reports RIA News.
According to Rogov, forbidden experiments were authorized at the local nuclear power plant, ranging from a large amount of nuclear materials that are not needed for the operation of the station and could not appear due to the operation of its reactors, and ending with “a host of other interesting things.” He stressed that, according to the regulations, specialists from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must record all illegal actions at nuclear power plants.
At the same time, as Rogov noted, when it became known about the desire of the IAEA delegation to visit the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the Ukrainian authorities ordered the shelling of Energodar “in order to disrupt the possible arrival of the IAEA inspection under the pretext of a dangerous situation in the city, thereby intimidating foreign specialists and continuing to hide their forbidden manipulations with radioactive materials at ZNPP”.
Earlier, the head of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, Yevhen Balitsky, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue massive shelling of Energodar, located near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. According to a representative of local authorities, the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine endanger the inhabitants of not only Ukraine, but the whole of Europe if the shelling affects the infrastructure of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
