In Kamchatka, the dog Irbis saved his owner from four bears
In Kamchatka, a brave dog named Irbis fought off four bears and saved his owner’s life. This is reported by Channel Five with reference to the pet’s owner, Tatyana.
According to the Russian woman, it all happened on September 5. Her husband went for a walk and took their German Shepherd Irbis with him. At some point, the dog started to fuss and they turned back home. “I turn my head, and there are four bears standing behind me: two huge ones and two teenagers,” Tatyana relayed her husband’s words.
The predators moved towards the man. Seeing the bears, the dog began to lead them away from its owner. Thanks to this, the Russian managed to run to the neighboring house, hide and call his wife and say that “we need to save Irbis.” Tatyana got into the car and went to look for the dog, but the search led to nothing. Then the resident took her husband. Already near the house, the couple saw that the bear was calmly walking nearby, and passers-by were filming it on video.
“Then Irbis himself came home, all wounded and covered in blood. It was scary to watch,” she noted.
The dog had a torn trachea, an injured ear and head. Now Irbis’s condition is serious, he has lost a lot of blood. The owners admit that they are doing everything possible to return their protector to his former life.
Earlier it was reported that a modest bear in Sakhalin came to people, grabbed only one fish and ran away, getting caught on video. Meanwhile, in Perm Krai, the fiery dances of a large bear were captured. He stood on his hind legs near a tree and began to rub his back against the trunk.
