Mexico City.- Police in this capital realized that three men were struggling in the street over a sack, and as they approached, two of the men ran away: it was an assault.
The person affected was an elderly man, who was on the verge of losing products used to make tamales, with the sale of which he survives.
The news outlet TV Azteca reported the above, adding that this occurred on Emiliano Zapata and Nicolás Bravo streets, in the Zona Centro neighborhood, in the Venustiano Carranza mayor’s office.
It is specified that elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) were carrying out a surveillance tour, and on the aforementioned corner they saw that two men were trying to snatch a sack from a man, but when they saw the agents, they ran.
Upon approaching, the man told the police that in the sack he had food supplies for the creation of tamales, which he sells; Then, the police began a search for the alleged thieves, locating one of them blocks away, and detained him.
The detainee, 30 years old, was presented before the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who will define his legal situation.
