The Tunisian Football Association summoned Firas Belarabi, the Ajman player, to participate with the “Carthage Eagles” in the African Nations Cup, after the technical staff of the team chose him, led by Mundhir Al-Kabeer, after the many absences that affected the team. The Ajman administration is making its contacts, in order for Firas to stay until Monday, to participate with the team in the return match for the League Cup quarter-final against Al-Ahly youth, after which he will leave to catch up with the team that will leave for Cameroon on January 6, and play a friendly match against Sierra Leone.
The Tunisian national team, the 2004 champion, plays in Group F, along with Mauritania, Mali and Gambia, and plays its first match with Mauritania on January 12th.
Firas participated with his country’s national team in the Arab Cup, which was held recently in Doha, and the team reached the final, and won the “runner-up” after losing against Algeria, and the Ajman player scored two goals with the “Carthage Eagles”.
It is noteworthy that Firas Belarabi, who moved from Fujairah to Ajman this season, scored 5 goals in 12 matches in the ADNOC Professional League, in addition to two goals in the League Cup.
