Double commitment for Heart of Racing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for the 2022 season.
The US team has entered two Aston Martin Vantages in the US series, dividing them between the GTD Pro and GTD Classes.
The first will be the official drivers Ross Gunn and Alex Riberas, given that the # 23 will have the support of the parent company – as required by the regulations – with Maxime Martin joining the Endurance Cup races.
Roman De Angelis will remain in GTD, sharing the wheel of the # 27 with Martin himself, while for the 24h of Daytona the crew will be formed by the former together with Tom Gamble, Darren Turner and team principal Ian James.
“Riding the wave of what we learned in 2021, we are ready to switch to two cars and also make the leap further in the GTD Pro Class – explains James – We are excited and excited to push beyond our limits, continuing to test ourselves against the best. teams and drivers “.
