“Imola and Formula 1 in the Motor Valley“. This is the title of the exhibition that will be inaugurated on Monday 20 December at the Checco Costa Museum of the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit, in the presence of Giammaria Manghi, Head of the political secretariat of the Emilia – Romagna Region presidency, Marco Panieri, Mayor of Imola, and Fabio Bacchilega, President of CON.AMI.
The exhibition celebrates the Motor Valley and the return of Formula 1 to the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack through the local area’s passion for engines and collecting historic cars and motorbikes.
In this context there is a particular tribute to the Imola driver Pier Luigi Martini, who raced several seasons in Formula 1 between 1985 and 1995 with Dallara and Minardi.
The exhibition is set up in collaboration with some of the major excellences of the Motor Valley: the Scuderia AlphaTauri of Faenza, la Dallara Automobili di Varano de ‘Melegari – Parma and the CRAME Club Romagnolo Auto e Moto d’Epoca di Imola, which will allow theexhibition of various cars from the present and the past. In addition, the images of the IsolaPress Photographic Agency – by Marco Isola will be projected on the screens of the Digital Museum, which will bring to life the emotions of Formula 1 in Imola both of the past and of the last two recent editions held at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit.
The exhibition will be open to the public on the following days and opening times, with free admission:
Tuesday to Friday 12.00 – 18.00
Saturday, Sunday and holidays 10.00 – 18.00
