Ciudad Juarez.– In order to reach as many women as possible, the Municipal Institute for Women (IMM) launched a radio program yesterday on the station Alternativa 100.3, announced the head of the IMM office, Elvira Urrutia Castro.
“We are going to have a weekly program every Tuesday from 4 to 5 in the afternoon called ‘All of Us’, where we are going to talk about what we do at the institute, the services we provide, but we are also going to have specialized topics, we are going to have guests,” she said.
She said the goal is for women to know what to do when they experience situations of violence.
“The main objective is to reach more women, so that more women know what we do at the institute, so that more women know the services we provide and know that they can turn to us when they are in a situation of violence,” she said.
The program will be hosted by Ana Karina Ruiz, who is part of the IMM. On the first day, which was yesterday, the guest was the head of the decentralized institution, who spoke about everything that the Municipal Institute for Women does.
The program is an original production of the Municipal Institute for Women of Juárez “through which we seek to promote audience reflection on the social dynamics that impact the exercise of women’s human rights,” the IMM announced through its Facebook page.
This Tuesday, hosts Ana Karina and Zule had as a special guest Elvira Urrutia Castro, head of the IMM office, who shared important information about specialized care services and the Institute’s progress during its first decade, it was reported.
