On Saturday 11 December, the Italian Motorcycle Federation awarded all the Italian winners at the international level of the last decade, with lifetime achievement awards for Valentino Rossi and Tony Cairoli
The enthusiasm of Max Giusti, on this occasion in the role of presenter but also a great fan of two wheels, opened the 110th anniversary event of the Italian Motorcycle Federation. Held in the splendid setting of the PalaRiccione, the focus of the evening was to celebrate the history of the IMF, recognize the achievements of the great motorcycling champions over the last decade and share the spirit of belonging that binds the Moto Clubs to the Federation. IMF president Giovanni Copioli did the honors: “We owed an event of this magnitude to all our world champions of the last decade, who have brought Italy to the top in the world”. And regarding the visit to the Quirinale he adds: “I also saw emotion in the eyes of Valentino Rossi in front of Sergio Mattarella”. A special prize also went to Paolo Simoncelli, in gratitude for the work he has done in this decade and is still doing for the movement of two wheels in the Speed sector.
