Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appeared in a new video from the capital, Kiev, declaring war on Russia.
The clip showed Zelensky, who appeared exhausted, on a street in the capital on Saturday morning, saying that the Ukrainian army would not lay down its arms, and would not surrender to the invaders.
“We wish everyone a good morning,” the president added with a smile on his face.
Zelensky stated that he wanted to refute the false news that he had left Ukraine, and said: “I am here,” stressing the need to defend the country. The president concluded the clip by saying: “Glory to Ukraine!”
