The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security announced that the Ghuwaifat border crossing received approximately 11,000 pilgrims from the House of God, who were heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj for the year 1443 AH, with the provision of distinguished and accessible services to make their transit movement more comfortable and smooth, through the launch of the “Oasis” initiative. Muhammad Al-Muqbali, director of the Ghuwaifat port office, said that the authority is keen to provide all distinguished services by preparing the port logistically, implementing operational plans and preparing them in advance in cooperation with the strategic partners working at the port to provide joint integrated services according to the highest standards to enhance the flexibility of transit of pilgrims, indicating that campaigns are separated.
