Strongly Turku Palloseura, who performed at their home arena this season, suffered their second defeat of the season in the hockey league at Turkuhalli on Friday. HIFK broke Turku’s five-match home winning streak and took full points to Helsinki with a 3–0 away win.

The win was HIFK’s third in a row, and the team continues its climb from the tail end of the series.

Head coach of HIFK Ville Peltonen thanked the goalkeeper in particular Niilo Halonen great performance.
