Iberdrola redoubles its commitment to extend the use of aerothermal energy, electrical acclimatization systems for homes. As already mentioned elEconomista.es the electric company plans include the different subsidies and aid for the installation of these systems and the energy savings they generate directly in the price paid by the consumer.
In this sense, the firm calculates that the installation costs of these systems are in a range of between 12,000 and 15,000 euros —depending on whether it is an average apartment of 80 square meters or a single-family home of 200 square meters—. In this way, the quote will include a direct reduction from up to a quarter of the installation price when replacing a gas or diesel one, and will leave its fixed price around 9,000 and 12,000 euros. In addition, the company also gives the option of making a bonus of 800 euros on the invoice.
The firm will implement these price cuts primarily through two systems. On the one hand, it has a plan Renew which adds up to direct discount of 1,000 eurosto which is added the management of Energy Savings Certificates (CAE), an energy savings marketing system that allows investments in energy efficiency to be monetized. Through this formula, the electricity company calculates other 2,000 euros of direct savings on the price of aerothermal heaters.
Aerothermal systems are heat pumps that extract energy from the air through a thermodynamic cycle that provides heating, cooling and hot water. This system, Iberdrola calculates, allows savings up to 70% in energy for heating in the case to have underfloor heating and up to 40% if they are radiators.
In addition to the discounts provided by the electricity company, there are various public aids materialized through tax deductions that allow tax relief up to 60% of the initial investmentup to a maximum of 9,000 euros divided over three years, that is, 3,000 euros per year.
In this way, for an 80 square meter apartment, a Complete aerothermal solution costs about 12,000 euros which, after discounts and deductions, are reduced to a cost of 5,200 euros. In the case of a single-family home of the same size, They decrease to 2,800 euros because they entail a greater tax deduction. While, for a home detached house of 200 metersand an aerothermal unit of 15,000 euros, The final cost is around 4,000 euros.
