The story created by Vince Gilligan has come to an end. After premiering “Breaking bad” and “El camino: a Breaking Bad movie”, the plot still had to close the spin off “Better call Saul”, the same one that ended this Tuesday, August 16, 2022. With the chapter “There is no more nothing” on Netflix and AMC, Jimmy McGill said goodbye to television.
As usual, the actors have begun to say goodbye to their characters and thank the fans for staying true to the series. In that sense, the actor who also used his social networks was Bob Odenkirk, performer behind Saul Goodman.
The artist shared a message for his followers on Twitter: “Everyone has been asking me how I feel about saying goodbye to Saul Goodman and “Better call Saul”. I’m not good at answering that question. Frankly, for me, it’s hard to talk about that experience and even about the character. There are many parts that fit together well. It’s a mystery to me how it happened.”
In his message, Bob Odenkirk also thanked story creator Vince Gilligan and producer Peter Gould: “I didn’t do anything to deserve this role, but I hope I did well for six seasons.”
The actor also shared his gratitude with the cast, crew, and fans of “Better Call Saul” who have stuck by him for the past six years.
“Thank you for giving us the opportunity. We could have been hated for just trying to make a show, but we were given a choice. I hope we made the most of it.”
Fans will see the cast of “Better call Saul” again at the 2022 Emmy ceremony. They arrive at the gala with seven nominations, including best actor and actress in a dramatic series for Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn, respectively. The event will be on September 12.
