The opening is scheduled for mid-2023
The famous Príncipe Felipe 5* hotel at La Manga Club temporarily closed its doors on December 1 to undertake a thorough remodeling and reopen with a completely modernized offer, as LA VERDAD announced last month. Thus, the iconic 192-room complex will become the first establishment of the Grand Hyatt brand in Spain in mid-2023.
Located in an idyllic enclave on the Mediterranean coast, Grand Hyatt La Manga Club and Resort will be located in the heart of the emblematic La Manga Club resort in the Region of Murcia, recognized as one of the most sought-after destinations in southern Europe. As part of a major renovation to be completed next spring, the hotel’s nearly 200 guest rooms, including a 156m² royal suite and six additional suites, will be redesigned to reflect the brilliant design and bold architecture for which the brand is known. Grand Hyatt. A renewed culinary offer will also be incorporated, such as a new sushi bar and a high-end gastronomic restaurant, aimed at highlighting local products through international cuisines.

True to the brand’s principles of being a destination within a destination, Grand Hyatt La Manga Club and Resort will be located on 560 hectares of land with exuberant vegetation and with access to native fauna, places of natural interest such as the Natural of Calblanque and the lagoon of the Mar Menor. The hotel’s facilities will mark a milestone in the Region’s sports offer and include three 18-hole championship-level golf courses, extensive outdoor tennis facilities and the La Manga Club Soccer Center, current home of Cartagena FC.
The hotel’s spa area will encourage relaxation with two new adult-only pools that will offer sea views. Guests will be able to make the most of this backdrop in one of the many event spaces that offer both indoor and outdoor venues. With up to 1,288 m² of available space, Grand Hyatt La Manga Club and Resort sets out to become an ideal venue for meetings, conferences or weddings.
Grand Hyatt La Manga Club and Resort will be the first Grand Hyatt-branded hotel in Spain, joining the previously announced Grand Hyatt Lanzarote, due to open in 2025. These two resorts will join other iconic European properties in the portfolio, including that of Berlin, Athens and Istanbul.
