The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation launched the “Customer First Forum”, which is virtual sessions organized on a weekly basis to answer the inquiries of employers, workers in the private sector and job seekers from citizens, and to respond to their observations related to labor market legislation and procedures for obtaining the Ministry’s services, and to listen to their observations and suggestions, with the aim of enhancing The principle of direct communication between the ministry and the private sector.
The forum addresses topics aimed at raising awareness of Emiratisation decisions, programs and privileges provided by “Nafis” to promote the integration of UAE nationals into the private sector, with the approaching date of achieving the Emiratisation goals approved by the Ministry for private sector companies in January 2023, in addition to topics related to labor relations, inspection, procedures and decisions implementing the law Organizing work relations and raising awareness of rights and duties.
Saif Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary for Emiratisation Affairs, said: “Organizing virtual discussion sessions comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to enhance direct communication channels with customers, and to listen to various observations, views and proposals that would improve the services provided in line with the Ministry’s commitment to empowering Emirati cadres and enhancing their capabilities and skills. And its potential to contribute to increasing the strength of the national economy, in addition to the attractiveness and ability of the labor market in the UAE to attract qualified local and international talents to contribute to strengthening the capabilities of the national economy and consolidating the country’s competitiveness on the global map.”
He added, “The weekly sessions represent an interactive platform that will enhance constructive dialogue and raise awareness about the labor market legislation in the country, which will reflect on improving the business environment in the country.”
For his part, His Excellency Khalil Al Khouri, Acting Undersecretary for Human Resources Affairs, said: “These sessions are part of the digital participation adopted by the UAE government, which is witnessing major transformations in information and communication technology, in order to enhance its position in the ranks of developed countries.” Al Khouri stressed the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation’s endeavor to educate customers through various communication channels, meet their needs and identify challenges, based on its keenness to communicate permanently and directly with the private sector and open the way for the various components of the labor market to express opinions and suggestions for development of services, as well as respond to inquiries and address complaints in line with Law regulating labor relations and its executive regulations and ministerial decisions implementing them.
