The Habib’s chain of Arabic restaurants currently has more than 300 stores spread across 14 states in the country and the Federal District. Those who wish to join the company’s franchise team can become owners with an initial investment of R$440,000.
In a note sent to the website This Is Moneythe group’s president, Alberto Saraiva, states that there is an expectation of opening 50 new units in 2024.
“The focus of the expansion, initially, is on capitals and large, medium-sized cities with over 100,000 inhabitants, places where shopping malls, supermarkets and commercial areas are the right destinations for sightseeing and shopping,” says Saraiva.

According to the businessman, the flow of cars and people is analyzed before creating a new location. Habib’s seeks “positive corners” with easy access for the public, visibility and safety. When selecting franchisees, the search is for an “owner with a belly on the counter”, in the words of the executive.
“We look for candidates and potential franchisees who can monitor the store’s day-to-day operations, team alignments, cash register closings, standardization and customer experience,” says Saraiva, who adds the need to be aware of operational health indicators.
