There are always rumors about Vladimir Putin’s health. A new video fuels this even further.
Moscow – There is always speculation about the state of health of the Russian President Wladimir Putin on. These talk about cancer, Parkinson’s disease or both. Through a video broadcast in Russian media, these speculations are fueled even further.
The approximately 50-second video clip shows Putin speaking to a group of schoolchildren. The Russian President sat in his chair in an odd posture, repeatedly tapping and jerking his feet as he spoke.

The video was made on Thursday (September 1st) in a school in Kaliningrad. Here the Russian President stopped in view of the Ukraine conflict held a lesson on “Talking about Important Things” in which he explained to students why the Crimean Peninsula, which has been occupied by Russian forces since 2014, belongs to Russia, reports the US news magazine Newsweek.
After the video got loud Newsweek was posted on social media platform Reddit on Thursday, it went viral and has been viewed over 100,000 times.

Putin’s behavior in front of the camera since the beginning of the Ukraine war on February 24 has been regularly questioned: observers wonder whether the head of state is doing well physically or mentally. Despite reports claiming that Putin has cancer, Parkinson’s disease, or both, there is no evidence that he is actually ill. The Kremlin in Moscow repeatedly stated that the Russian leader was in good health.
Already in July British Chief of Staff Tony Radakin expressed skepticism about this type of rumour: “Some of the comments that he’s not well or that someone will surely murder him or take him out are wishful thinking, I think,” Radakin told the at the time BBC.
