Continue support for Helldivers 2and a recent update should substantially resolve the numerous access problems that have characterized the game in recent days, with theextension of capacity up to 700,000 players connected simultaneously online.
This is a change of considerable importance, considering that many of Helldivers 2's problems stemmed from the game's poor ability to sustain heavy player traffic, which led to the creation of queues, to instability of online matches and in general the inability to quickly access a match.
The work has focused on these aspects and has already led to several changes, but the one relating to the extension of contemporary players should be particularly important, especially on PC given that Steam has seen a large amount of users concentrate on the Arrowhead title in these days.
An overdue update
Considering that it recently reached its record of over 400,000 concurrent online players, it is likely that with the extension to 700,000 it can resume its run, considering that the previous limit was precisely 450,000 players and problems were evident around this figure.
Some important measures had already been taken in yesterday's patch, including kicking players who occupied slots without actually being present in the game from the servers. With this further extension, the Helldivers 2 experience should further improve.
