Earlier, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, Yevgeny Tishkovets, predicted that a 4.3 mm snow charge was expected in the metropolitan region on Friday morning, which would form 3.1 cm of snow cover. At the same time, according to the meteorologist, there will be a deterioration in visibility up to 1.5 thousand meters.
On November 11, Yandex.Pogoda analysts provided data on the cities with a population of over one million in Russia, which are considered the snowiest in the calculation for a period of 10 years.
It is noted that these include Chelyabinsk, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod. At the same time, Chelyabinsk, where an average of 181 cm of snow falls per season, took first place, the second place was taken by Perm, where an average of 143 cm of snow falls during the winter. Nizhny Novgorod follows with 126 cm of snow.
