Throughout this Monday the necessary conditions will exist for the formation of tornadoes or whirlwinds in northeast Chihuahua, northern Coahuila and Nuevo León, in addition to the northwest of Tamaulipas. For its part, the heat wave will raise temperaturess above 45°C in Sinaloa and seven other statesaccording to information from Conagua.
Through the weather forecast of the National Meteorological Service (SMN), the agency explained that the anticyclonic circulation at medium levels of the atmosphere will maintain the heat wave that will generate a hot to very hot environment in most of the country.
For its part, cold front 46 will extend over northwest and northern Mexico, where it will interact with a polar trough and the polar and subtropical jet streams. The union of these atmospheric phenomena, together with a dry line, will cause winds with strong to intense gusts in this area of the country.
In the case of Sonora and Chihuahua, Conagua foresees winds with gusts of 80 to 100 km/h with dust devils for the first entity and with possible formation of whirlwinds for the second. In Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas there will be isolated rains, as well as winds with gusts of 60 to 80 km/h and possible formation of whirlwinds
In contrast, cold front 46 and other phenomena will cause showers in Baja California and isolated rains in Sonora between this Sunday night and early Monday morning. There will also be wind gusts of 60 to 80 km/h in these entities, and wind gusts of 50 to 70 km/h in Baja California Sur and in the Gulf of California.
By Monday, the waves will reach a height between 1 to 3 meters on the western coast of the Baja California Peninsula.

Conagua forecasts a partly cloudy to partly cloudy sky with isolated rains in Tamaulipas. In the morning, cool to temperate atmosphere and from very hot to extremely hot in the afternoon. The southern component wind (Surada) will run at a speed of 10 to 25 km/h with gusts of 60 to 80 km/h and possible formation of whirlwinds in the northwest part of the state.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains in areas of Coahuila, Nuevo León and San Luis Potosí, without rain in the rest of the region.
