Chihuahua.- The State Civil Protection Coordination alerted citizens due to the high temperatures that will occur in a large part of the state of Chihuahua due to a low pressure channel and the entry of humidity from the Pacific Ocean.
Maximum temperatures of 39 to 43ºC are expected in regions such as the center, north and lower Sierra Tarahumara, with Chínipas and Ojinaga being the most affected with up to 43ºC.
Citizens are recommended to take precautions against the heat to avoid dehydration or heat stroke.
In addition, scattered to moderate rains are anticipated in some municipalities and wind gusts of up to 55 km/h, with possible dust devils on several roads in the state.
According to The Weather Channel’s forecast, a maximum temperature of 40ºC and a minimum of 23ºC is expected for Ciudad Juárez on Monday, June 17.
