Health, Lorenzin: “Caregivers are the pillar of care but are the responsibility of families”

“Caregivers represent everything in our country, on the one hand, not only with regard to dementia, but we think of all the issues related to mental health, but also to the care of an illness, they are a pillar of care, which, however, is mostly borne by families”. Beatrice Lorenzin, senator and co-president of the parliamentary intergroup for neurosciences and Alzheimer’s, said this on the sidelines of the presentation event, organized by Airalzh, the Italian Association for Alzheimer Research Onlus, on the occasion of its tenth anniversary of foundation, of the awareness campaign to invite the population to be more aware of the benefits of a correct lifestyle and to adopt them also as a prevention for dementia.
