Genoa – The Genoa Carabinieri arrested a 61-year-old resident of Rome accused of abuse in the family and banned from approaching her ex-spouse while she was trying to escape Italy on board a bus bound for Spain.
The man, with prejudice from the police, had evaded the application of the electronic bracelet several times by not showing up at the police offices in Rome. In execution of a precautionary custody order in prison, searches began throughout Italy and the police identified him at the bus station in Genoa Cornigliano.
