Marco Lucci dies at the age of 55: he had been discharged from hospital
Marco Lucci he was a 55 year old man who was a butcher in life. Following some chest pains he had decided to go to the emergency room, choosing the Mazzini Hospital in Teramo. Here he had been visited by some doctors, who hypothesized a beginning of heart attack in man.
Among the tests carried out on the patient there was also one coronary angiography, which would not have been followed with the right scrupulousness required by the case. Marco underwent the local anesthesia necessary for this test, which he would reveal an anomaly which, however, has not been properly explored.
His condition would then worsen with time and following his resignation. After a while he was brought in cardiac resuscitationbut unfortunately he passed away due to severe multiple organ failure.
The wife's complaint: a doctor ends up under investigation
Unfortunately for Marco Lucci there was nothing that could be done as his situation worsened aggravated suddenly. The wife then turned to the Carabinieri to report the hospital and the doctor involved in the diagnosis, who is currently under investigation.
We don't know yet date in which it will be carried out the autopsy but the complaint has already been filed manslaughter towards the healthcare personnel who took care of him by underestimating the problem. Marco leaves behind his wife and three children. THE funerals of the victim will be celebrated on April 18th at 3 pm on Pian of Castiglione Messer Raimondo.
