The interest around Halo Infinite it’s tall. Very high, as evidenced by the fact that already more than 100,000 contemporary players are playing multiplayer beta on Steam. Considering that less than an hour has passed since the announcement of availability, at least at the time of writing this news, this is a truly remarkable result, which bodes well for the success of the game.
Please note that Steam data does not include players Xbox nor those of the PC version on Xbox Game Pass, so the actual number of people who are playing is certainly much higher. It should also be considered that the download is around 26 GB, so those with slower connections will come into play in the next few hours, pushing the count up further.
Difficult to draw conclusions after such a short time, but the multiplayer by Halo Infinite looks set to become Microsoft’s second big hit this November 2021, following the hit Forza Horizon 5, which continues to grind excellent numbers.
Before leaving, we remind you that the single player campaign of Halo Infinite will be available starting December 8, 2021. The multiplayer mode is free-to-play and is playable on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.
