As usual in recent months, the Norwegian Erling Haaland is the center of dozens of rumors in international football. According to the Spanish press, his days at Borussia Dortmund seem to be numbered. After the possibility of him arriving at Real Madrid gained strength, now everything suggests that his destiny will be Barcelona.
Erling Haaland to Barcelona?
This Tuesday, at a press conference, the president of the team, Joan Laporta, put a price on the signing of Haaland: 250 million euros. In addition, in the same appearance, coach Xavi was questioned about the issue. In his case, he only replied that “no footballer has told him ‘no'” while he is in charge of the team.
Laporta said in his conference that he is about to sign the agreement with ‘Spotify’, the Swedish ‘streaming’ company, which according to the leader will be one of the biggest contracts in the market and that will lead to the stadium now being called ‘Spotify Camp Nou’. That business, according to ‘Marca’, would be vital to raise funds to bring Haaland.
In addition, as reported by the same medium, the Catalan club is close to closing a deal with ‘CVC Capital Partners’, a British venture capital entity. With that, added to the audiovisual project of ‘Barça Studios’, which seems to be coming to fruition, Barcelona would have the necessary money to bring Haaland.
The Norwegian striker has a contract with Borussia Dortmund. However, a termination clause, estimated at 75 million euros, would allow him to leave the club at the end of this season.
