Today, Thursday, one million pilgrims will go to the Shaar of Mina, about 5 kilometers from the Grand Mosque, in preparation for performing the largest pilgrimage corner by climbing to Mount Arafat tomorrow, Friday.
Yesterday, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims performed the “tawaf of arrival” around the Kaaba in Makkah. The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques continued to receive worshipers during the Hajj season this year inside the Grand Mosque and send them to the chapels designated for them, in addition to managing their movement and making sure all services are prepared and following up their entry and exit to the Great Mosque of Mecca with ease and ease.
The Under-Secretary-General for Grouping and Crowd Management, Engineer Osama Al-Hujaili, stated that the number of chapels to which they are directed is 36, including 4 chapels on the ground floor, 9 on the first floor, 6 chapels in the expansion on the first floor and 4 chapels in the extension on the ground floor.
He pointed out that the administration is keen to avoid overcrowding and gathering in chapels and directing the pilgrims to the chapels of the third Saudi expansion and the chapels of the courtyards, indicating that the administration was supported by highly qualified human cadres.
In turn, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an in Madinah, has completed providing the mosques of the Holy Sites with half a million copies of the Noble Qur’an, and the translation of the words of the Noble Qur’an into international languages, as part of the efforts made by the Ministry for the sake of convenience. Pilgrims, providing everything they need to perform their Hajj with ease and ease.
The ministry explained that this quantity of the Qur’an was provided as needed in each of the Namera Mosque in Arafat, the Al-Mashar Al-Haram Mosque in Muzdalifah, the Al-Khayf Mosque in Mina, and the Al-Hal mosques located on the Pilgrims Road in the central region.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, as part of its campaign to welcome and receive pilgrims, distributed more than 20,000 gifts. Director of the General Department of Social Services, Janadi Madkhali, stated that the department has prepared three different sites between King Fahd and King Abdullah’s expansion to welcome and provide souvenirs, prayer mats, Zamzam water bottles and hand sanitizers, as well as meals, awareness and guidance brochures, and portable bags for use in performing the Hajj. The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque provided 250 spray fans, to soften the atmosphere of the Grand Mosque and its courtyards, to serve the pilgrims.
These fans cool the air in the courtyards of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, using the “spray air cooling” technology, by absorbing heat energy from the outside air, to reduce its temperature.
Mist fans and water mist columns are used to soften the air in the open air.
“Dubai Mission” offers sermon seminars
The official Hajj mission of the Government of Dubai, organized by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, continued to provide its religious and educational programs for pilgrims. Marwan Al Shehhi, Legal Adviser and Director of the Legal Affairs Department and Head of the Official Hajj Mission of the Government of Dubai, indicated that the mission provides lessons and preaching lectures to pilgrims, within the framework of the mission’s keenness to raise awareness of the rituals of Hajj and prepare pilgrims to perform the ritual. The lectures deal with an explanation of the rituals of Hajj, the virtues of Hajj, the first ten days of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, the virtues of fasting on the day of Arafah, its importance and diligence in it, standing on Arafah, and that it is the greatest pillar of Hajj, and how to perform rituals in Mina, Muzdalifah, Arafa, throwing pebbles, circumambulating and ritual pilgrimages.
“Al-Waz” reviews its equipment to serve pilgrims
The preaching and legal inquiries team at the Office of Pilgrims Affairs reviewed its programs and services during the Hajj season with the preachers of the UAE campaigns, with the aim of preparing to serve the pilgrims of the homeland.

The religious preaching and inquiries team plays a major role, through which it contributes to ensuring that religious awareness reaches all pilgrims of the country according to the highest standards of awareness through a group of preachers and muftis to ensure that the pilgrims perform their rituals.
The team sent text messages to the country’s pilgrims before their arrival to prepare and educate them on the steps to perform rituals during the Hajj, in addition to activating 5 hotlines to answer the inquiries of the country’s pilgrims 24 hours a day.
