Guardiola, on the ropes: the ‘push’ to a child who asked for a photo

Pep Guardiola’s holidays in Barcelona are over. The Catalan coach, who is in charge of Manchester City, hopes to rejoin the ‘citizen’ club in a matter of hours to participate in the preparation of the 2022-2023 Premier League.

The helmsman, who will seek once again to be a protagonist in the Champions League, left Barcelona in the midst of the warmth of the people who saw him shine as a player and coach with Fútbol Club Barcelona.

Yet in that wave of affection, ‘Pep’ was not very comfortable, because he was not allowed to take any photos with a dozen children who accompanied him on his arrival at the airport. In fact, one of them, as can be seen in the record at the time, was practically pushed.

Guardiola’s ‘push’

In the record, the DT is seen arriving at the airport entrance, filled with minors.

Most of the children come to take a selfie with Guardiola, but he continues his course.

It is on this road that, when a child stands in front of him, the helmsman chooses to run him away with a kind of push.

“Sorry,” Guardiola murmurs.

“It doesn’t cost you anything, Pep,” says another who couldn’t take the picture either.
