The revelation occurred at a special event with the actors who gave life to the protagonists of GTA V. Here the three said that Rockstar was planning to release DLC that would continue the story of Michael, Trevor and Franklin. However, they abandoned them to focus on GTA Online, although Franklin did get a kind of sequel in the end.

The Trevor actor told more details about what he did. He said he recorded for a story that would see the criminal join the feds to work undercover. He even described him as a combination of Trevor and James Bond. Unfortunately it seems that we will never see the result.

Years ago Rockstar announced that it had several story DLC planned for GTA V. However, they were simply left aside until the fans forgot about them.
