The confirmation came via the financial report of the company’s last fiscal year, where it reveals that the release of the next Grand Theft Auto, previously scheduled for a generic 2025, has now been better framed and set for the autumn of next year.
In short, the dire predictions of analysts and rumors that spoke of a possible postponement to 2026 have been averted.
“Entering fiscal 2025 with positive momentum, we expect to achieve net revenue in the range of $5.55 billion to $5.65 billion. Our forecast reflects a narrowing of the release window previously established by Rockstar Games for a generic 2025 to fall 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI,” reads the Take-Two statement.
“We are very confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unprecedented entertainment experience and our expectations for the title’s commercial impact continue to grow.”
