The Ukrainian Border Guard Service has announced that all Ukrainian men aged between 18 and 60 are banned from leaving the country.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the border guard service said the rule will apply during the period of martial law. He did not provide further details as to why.
Women and children trying to leave the country are stranded unless they can drive or find other transport to the nearest border.
Zelenskyy imposed martial law on Thursday morning, shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. No end date has been reported.
