The digital store GOG has announced that it will remove 29 games from its catalog during the month of September. Four Adult Swim games will be removed on September 30, and 25 games from publisher Meridian4 will disappear from the store on September 20, so in two days.
It must be said that Meridian4 titles are mostly unknown. Also, the few with a decent number of reviews, they were not well evaluated by the users. In short, their disappearance is sadder for a question of conservation than for a strictly qualitative one, unless you are among the very few fans of Boom Blaster or Full Moon Rush, to name a couple of names.
Adult Swim games are definitely more well-known, considering that we are talking about the excellent Westerados: Double Barrelled, Kingsway, Headlander and Fist Puncher. The reason for their removal has not been disclosed, but we assume that Warner Bros. may have had something to do with it, as it is winding down its video game division and has practically suffocated Adult Swim.
The removed games
In its announcement message, GOG talked about tlaughter at the situation and the desire to try to do something to bring them back to the store: “We are sorry to be the bearers of bad news. We will do our best to bring them back.”
