In recent hours, the German federal prosecutor's office has issued and executed two arrest orders against as many agents who allegedly planned sabotage actions in Germany, on the orders of the Russian services.
According to Der Spiegel, the arrests were successfully carried out yesterday morning in Bayreuth, Bavaria. Among other things, the two allegedly spied on US bases on behalf of Russia and planned attacks on military transport routes. German aid to Ukraine in the crosshairs.
It later became known that the two men who allegedly planned sabotage attacks on military supplies for Ukraine in Germany are Russian-German. The two would have been born in Russia, but would have both nationalities, Russian and German. The police searched the homes of both.
According to investigations, Dieter S. would have been in contact with some of the Russian services since last October, to consult on possible sabotage actions in Germany. In particular, he would have made himself available for incendiary and explosive ambushes, especially on infrastructures and industrial sites used for military purposes.
